NEWS:
April 12, 2007 : IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT regarding our July Hula Workshop:
Due to a family illness, Aunti Charlene will not be available to teach this June. Auntie Charlene and her family are in our thoughts. Rather than cancel altogether, we have decided to POSTPONE that portion of the workshop until such time that Auntie Charlene can come and teach. As soon as we know when she will be available to teach, we will reschedule that portion.
Instead, we are going to have an abbreviated workshop. Kuma Hula Tina Marie Momilani Eggert has very graciously agreed to come and teach us. She will teach on Saturday from 10:30 am until 12:30, with a break for lunch. From 12:30 -
1:30 Tina will answer questions and talk about Hula while we share pizza or you can bring your own lunch. After lunch, from 1:30 - 2:30, there will be a very informal dance get together. Anyone wishing to perform may do so.
Cost for the workshop, which will include Kahiko and Auwana Hula will be $60.00
SPECIAL NOTE: Due to the abbreviated nature of this workshop, space is limited. Also, this workshop will not be teaching any beginning technique. Kumu Hula Tina will be teaching dances only. Prior hula experience is STRONGLY recommended. Please see our Workshop Page for information and registration form.
